Vhangani community celebrates the crowning #MissSA2020 of one of their own Shudufhadzo Musida

There is jubilation at Vhangani Village, outside Vuwani in Limpopo, where Miss South Africa 2020 Shudufhadzo Musida was born and bred. The 24-year-old Musida was crowned Miss South Africa 2020 in Cape Town last night.

She holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Pretoria and is currently studying towards her BA Honours in diplomacy at the University of the Witwatersrand.

One of the people that supported her campaign to be Miss South Africa , Khosi Livhiwani Matsila, says her diligence is inspiring many young villagers.

“Shudufhadzo Mushida’s victory and success as Miss South Africa 2020 may be a thrilling experience for us because the Venda nation. because the Matsila royalty and therefore the Matsila Community Development Trust that supported her from day one to today we feel excited, we are very proud that a Venda girl, one among our own product of the village has made it to be Miss South Africa .
