Valerie Mhere gives a touching tribute to Brother Simba Mhere on his 33rd birthday
Valerie Mhere has paid a moving homage to her aged family and “ stylish friend” Simba Mhere on what would have been his 33rd birthday.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, Valerie participated a cute videotape of Simba and some of his close musketeers, singing and dancing to Boom Shaka’s classic megahit single “ Thathi Sgubhu.”
Valerie told IOL the videotape was taken at Simba’s home, in December of 2014, a many weeks before his woeful end.
“ The videotape in itself is super novelettish. It’s one of the last times we did commodity with all hisfriends.he was relatively adamant about having all his musketeers over at the house, having a braai. He’d noway had all his musketeers over at our house ahead,” said Valerie.
Asked what she misses thee most about Simba, Valerie said “ The hardest part about Simba being gone is that I do not have my stylish friend with me.
January will be seven times since hepassed.I would let him know how important I appreciate the love and support he showed me as an aged family.
“ And I suppose it’s commodity we take for granted while someone is alive and you realise when they ’re gone, what a big part they played in your life. I would tell him just how important I love and appreciate him. And I miss him.”
She added that she had kept in touch with utmost of Simba’s musketeers, who were now part of the family.
Simba and his friend blogger and social judge Kady-ShayO’Bryan, were killed in an auto accident involving three vehicle on William Nicol Drive in Fourways, Johannesburg, on January 31, 2015.
Simba rose to fame after winning the” Top Billing Presenter Hunt”in 2010. He worked as a voice-over artist for numerous radio and TV programs. He also worked as a stage host for film award observances and beauty pageants including the Mrs SA pageant in 2013.
Following his end, fellow Top Billing presenter and stylish friend, Jonathan Boynton-Lee blazoned that he’d registered a product company named”Half Man Half Amazing Products”to recognize the heritage of Simba.
The company is named after Simba, a surname he gave himself- Half Man Half Amazing.
