Sindi Dlathu to become a co-executive producer on the #TheRiver1Magic

Sindi Dlathu was thrust into superstardom several years ago when she appeared in Sarafina and since then, she has been killing it within the acting game.

The actress who portrays the character of Lindiwe Dikani on Mzansi Magic’s hit telenovela The River, has been promoted on the show. it’s no secret that it’s very rare to urge a promotion as an actress within the film and tv industry in Mzansi.

For the longest time behind the scenes, the industry was male-dominated, but recently we’ve been seeing more and more women taking over space and cementing their place behind the scenes.

This proves that there’s growth and ladies also are being acknowledged for his or her diligence and creativity. Sindi has now secured a replacement role as series co-executive producer. The exciting news was revealed by entertainment commentator and blogger Phil Mphela on Twitter this afternoon.

The actress has become a force to be reckoned with within the industry and her lead character on the show continues to steal hearts. Her enthralling performances are keeping avid viewers of the show glued to their small screens.

Sindi recently walked away with Best Actress at the South African Film & Television Award (Safta) 2020. Dr. John Kani congratulated her and said he’s pleased with how her career has evolved.

Sindi is now joining a batch of Mzansi’s talented women who have proven that nothing is impossible and that they are killing it behind the scenes. Another actress who was recently offered a replacement role in Generations The Legacy is Chi Mhende. The actress is now a trainee director on the show.

The actress’s character was recently written off the storyline on the show, and there have been reports which alleged that she was given the boot after fans complained that her character was irrelevant. But chatting with Move Magazine Generations The Legacy Publicist Garaatwe Mokheti refuted the claims.

“Her exit is extremely much amicable and peaceful, “She may be a phenomenal actress and she or he will definitely soar in whatever she chooses to pursue.” Her last appearance on the show are going to be on 29 April,” she said.
