Well- known South African songster, Makhadzi opens up about the budget for the music videotape of her forthcoming single, Number 1.

The song which features Iyanya and Prince Benza will be released this Friday, alongside its music videotape.

Taking to Facebook, the South African musician revealed she spent over half a million for the music videotape of the song which will be out this week.

She’s agitated about the collaboration as it preaches concinnity amongst artists in Africa.

Makhadzi also revealed that the videotape was shot in Nigeria.

“Spent half a million in this music video. we call this investing in your craft. #takenotes. I can’t wait for you all to watch this. For the first time in my career, my fans going to watch expensive and exclusive music video. #no1 Number1 music video was short by Ghana directors in Nigeria . AFRICA WE ARE 1.”
