ICYMI:Spiciest Clap Backs Of 2019
People have a way of rubbing celebs up the wrong way, but some celebs are not fazed and not afraid to put trolls in their place.

Clap back season comes and goes so these are the clap backs that trended this year.

Bonang Matheba

House Of BNG boss is making waves everywhere, especially when she launched her very own alcoholic beverage. Not everyone seemed too impressed by her alcoholic brand and one woman claimed to have received a ‘message from God.’

The deleted tweet read; “I prayed about it and God says you need to bow before him publicly and stop producing alcohol. Why don’t you use your influence for good?”

With a simple and subtle response, Bonang’s clapback consisted of just 2 words:

Thando Thabethe

Imagine having to address the same rumour more than once. That’s what Thando was subjected to, but this time the radio DJ used a not-so-polite approach to put haters in their place.

She has been accused of bleaching her skin for the longest time till she eventually grew tired of having to deny the same rumour.

She posted a picture of her outfit at the Somhale wedding and was hit by bleaching claims, once again.

One ‘fan’ asked ‘Why is she so pale?’ Thando responded sarcastically saying: “Ask God”

Another one who scolded Thabooty for ‘not loving herself’, scored themselves a “Ts*k” from Thando.

She had the final say:

Lerato Sengadi

Lerato has had to deal with losing her husband and the legalities and family drama that came along with his passing. Tweeps could not help but air their concerns over Jabba’s grave and how it does not not have a tombstone.

Lerato responded to many tweets asking why haven’t they (family) erected a tombstone for HHP as yet and some suggesting money has something to do with it.

Sengadi blamed the in-laws for the controversy as she claimed that she would have erected one for him on the day of his funeral if she had her way.

Sizwe Dhlomo

2019 saw Sizwe being dubbed ‘lord of the clapbacks’ AND the man who always has something to say.

Forever engaging, and sometimes putting trolls in their place on Twitter, Sizwe revealed that he is always alone, thus giving him more time to engage with his followers. Sizwe posted a picture of his 2 horses, Oreo and Sheena. Few moments later, one of the horses trended for being a bit smaller than the other. The man with the spicy comebacks responded: “at least they are horses, what’s your excuse?” Ouch!

Rachel Kolisi

The question remains, is Rachel Kolisi the clap back Queen? It is not the easiest category to crown as Mzansi has witnessed some spicy clap backs this year.

Rachel had to deal with women having no respect for her marriage with Siya Kolisi. She was even warned to not check his DMs as they will be flooded with thirsty women after Siya led the Boks to World Cup victory.

But Rachel did not pay too much attention to any of that. In fact, she was out and about in Paris with her hubby and threw shade at all her haters with her shady captions.

When a troll came at her, saying she is enjoying the benefits of Siya’s wins, she clapped back and said: “Luckily they won right! Pretty sure I remember you saying ON AIR that wit would be my fault if we lost.”
