Health department call centre in East London  has been briefly shut after four test positive for Covid-19

This brings the amount of prosperity workers who have attempted positive for the coronavirus in the region to 57, as showed by the prosperity office.

Three have passed on.

The working environments of MEC Sindiswa Gomba and chief general Dr Thobile Mbengashe are in a comparable structure as the ordinary call network.

The MEC and SG have both attempted negative.

Prosperity office agent Sizwe Kupela said the division would be working with Wild bull City Metro’s biological prosperity organizations in by chance closing the affected portion for sterilizing and significant cleaning.

“Until further notification, the call place and the working environments of the senior specialists will remain open,” said Kupelo. “All contacts of the positive agents will be found for following and testing. This will moreover apply to all other staff in the structure.”

Kupelo said the four specialists attempted useful regardless of all protections taken, including the use of individual guarded equipment and hand sanitisers.

“Everyone is at risk for being polluted with this disease, yet we will continue ensuring our prosperity workers who have boldly been in the cutting edge in the fight against this vague enemy, are equipped with all the central contraptions they need,” he said.
