Babes Wodumo has reportedly been banned from attending Mampintsha’s mama ’s burial.

A Twitter stoner by the name Tšhegofatšo contended that Mampintsha’s family has bammed her from attending Zamanguni Gumede’s burial.

“Mampintsha’s family mara. Why ban Babes Wodumo from the funeral but expect Sponge to attend? Who’s going to take care of him? Mampintsha’s mom and Babes had made peace, the least they could do is allow Babes attend the funeral…. It’s not like she’s responsible for their death,” Tšhegofatšo tweeted.

Zamanguni Gumede’s burial details have been released. A honorary service will be held moment at KwaMashu L Hall in Durban, KZN.

She’ll be laid to rest on Saturday, 21 January, after a service held at the same hall.

By Wednesday, Babes Wodumo hadn’t visited her in- laws, but a family member said she was communicating with them.

Babes Wodumo’s family and director, Nondumiso Simelane, told Daily Sun that they would be attending the burial. She, still, stressed that there were some issues she couldn’t discover to the public.

“I contacted the Gumedes asking to bring Sponge. They had no problem with our request. Unfortunately, I cannot reveal everything because this is a family matter. But I can assure you that Babes and Sponge will be attending the funeral,” said Nondumiso.
